Appaloosa Management LP, the hedge fund of investor David Tepper, restated its investments in a filing Monday.

As of June 30, the firm cut its holdings significantly in Bank of America Corp. (BAC), Brunswick Bancorp (BRBW) and Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ), among others.

It no longer invests in Banco Santander SA (STD), Morgans Hotel Group Co. (MHGC), and Newcastle Investment Corp. (NCT), according to the latest filing.

It significantly increased its holdings in Beazer Homes USA Inc. (BZH), CVR Energy Inc. (CVI), Masco Corp. (MAS), and Valero Energy Corp. (VLO).

The firm had entirely new stakes in Alpha Natural Resources Inc. (ANR), Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. (CLF), Calumet Specialty Products Partners LP (CLMT), Google Inc. (GOOG), Mosaic Co. (MOS), Walter Energy Inc. (WLT.T, WLT) and Western Refining Inc. (WNR).

The number of shares Appaloosa holds in any given company may be affected by stock splits or other external factors other than the firm's own buying and selling.
