AXA SA said Thursday that the head of its AXA XL business is stepping down, and named a replacement.

Scott Gunter will be replacing Greg Hendrick as chief executive of AXA XL effective immediately, the French insurer said.

Mr. Gunter was previously president of Chubb Ltd's North America Commercial Insurance division, AXA said.
