Results for the financial year ended 31 December 2017

Further to its announcement on 29 March 2018, Havelock Europa PLC (HVE.L) announces that it is delaying the release of its preliminary statement for the year ended 31 December 2017 until later in May 2018, primarily because the company, its actuaries and other advisers are in discussion about a complex technical issue which has arisen over the calculation of the deficit in the company's defined benefit scheme, following the refinancing in March 2018. This does not affect the timing or amount of the committed deficit funding payments agreed with the pension fund trustees in March 2018.
