Impax Asian Environmental Markets plc (the "Company")

Interim dividends

The Board of directors of the Company has today declared the following interim dividends for the Company.

(i) An interim dividend for the year ended 30 June 2013 of 1.15p (net) per ordinary share. This dividend will be paid on 31 July 2013 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 12 July 2013. The ex-dividend date for this dividend will be 10 July 2013.

(ii) An interim dividend for the period from 1 July 2013 to the Company's proposed liquidation of 0.2p (net) per ordinary share. This dividend will be paid on 31 July 2013 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 12 July 2013. The ex-dividend date for this dividend will be 10 July 2013.

The above dividends have been declared in order for the Company to meet the "retention test" in order to maintain investment trust status in the periods prior to commencement of the Company's proposed liquidation.
