Theme-park operator Six Flags is partnering with Google Cloud to work on generative artificial intelligence and roll out new AI-powered offerings.

Six Flags said it plans to roll out a virtual assistant later this year that will be integrated with the company's app and park websites. The assistant will help customers plan their visits to the chain's parks and will respond to online questions.

Six Flags said Google's solutions will also help streamline operations.

"This is a pivotal moment for Six Flags and the wider amusement park sector," Chief Executive Selim Bassoul said.
