HOUSTON, Feb. 26,
2025 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Secretary of the Interior
Doug Burgum will deliver a plenary
address to delegates at the 43rd annual CERAWeek by S&P Global,
March 10-14 in Houston. He will join the world's energy
industry leaders, experts, government officials and policymakers,
as well as leaders from the technology, financial and industrial
communities addressing this year's conference.
The 55th Secretary of the Interior, Sec. Burgum oversees the
agency responsible for managing nearly one-fifth of the lands and
waters of the United States. He
also chairs the newly-formed White House National Energy Dominance
Council. He previously served as the governor of North Dakota.
"We are very pleased to welcome Secretary Burgum to CERAWeek as
he leads the U.S. Department of the Interior and the sizeable role
that it plays in shaping U.S. energy policy," said Daniel Yergin, conference chair and Vice
Chairman of S&P Global. "As the cabinet secretary responsible
for federal lands and resources and chairman of the National Energy
Dominance Council, his views on U.S. energy policy and security
have tremendous impact. Moreover, he brings in-depth experience of
having been governor of a major energy-producing state. His
participation will be a timely and important addition to the
critical dialogues taking place at this year's conference."
