The second season of "Tosh.0" consists of 25 episodes and it's the largest single season episode pick-up of a weekly series ever by the network which will premiere on Wednesday, January 13 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. In addition, the network has signed Tosh to shoot an original one-hour stand-up special to be subsequently released with extended material on DVD and CD and a national stand-up tour. The first season of "Tosh.0" consisted of 16 episodes and premiered on June 4, 2009. The series averaged 1.3 million total viewers during its first season. "Tosh.0" consistently ranked in the top three in cable in its timeslot with M18-24. "Daniel is extremely talented, incredibly funny and a perfect fit for our audience," said Ganeless. "We're excited about the new season of 'Tosh.0' and look forward to showcasing him on all these platforms." "COMEDY CENTRAL is making all my dreams come true, now if they could just cure my disease... technically it's more of an infection," said Tosh. "Tosh.0" features the razor sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh and delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious in this weekly, topical series. In addition, the series features viral clips of the week and original videos created by and starring well-known actors and comedians. Each episode features the segment "Web Redemption," which gives subjects of infamous viral videos (i.e. Nintendo 64 Kid and Crying Giants Fan) a second chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they've become synonymous. The "Tosh.0" blog (comedycentral.com/tosh) will maintain its presence by offering users new content during the hiatus with daily chances to interact with Tosh and the show. "Tosh.0" is executive produced by Tosh and Scott Tomlinson. Gary Mann is the executive in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL. Tosh has a long history with COMEDY CENTRAL having hosted the network's "Live at Gotham" stand-up series and performing on "Premium Blend" and "Friday Night Stand-Up."
