Odwalla, the juice brand discontinued by Coca-Cola Co. last year, will be the first acquisition for a joint venture formed by Warburg Pincus and LMCA.

Full Sail IP Partners launched with a plan to "acquire brands with untapped potential and build out their business through relevant, revenue-generating licenses."

A statement from Full Sail IP didn't state the deal's price or specifics on which Odwalla products will be relaunched, but said, "we look forward to providing consumers with the best tasting, artfully crafted functional beverages and foods to allow them to snack well, feel well and live well."
